Tutor Requirements
To ensure the best for our students, we only accept tutors who meet the following criteria:
A minimum Bachelor degree (Education or relevant field)
At least 3 years of formal teaching or tutoring experience
Current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
ABN and ability to invoice
Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
- Teachers registered with NESA, VIT or equivalent will be prioritised.

How You Get Paid
We understand that educational success isn't one-size-fits-all. Aced It offers two ways to tutor, depending on how you want to be matched with students.
Internal Tutor Pool
Be eligible for casual, relief, and overflow tutoring jobs. No listing fee. A great way to gain experience or supplement income.

- Paid a fixed hourly rate for each session, typically $35–$40 depending on the student’s level and subject.
- No costs or admin – just teach and get paid.
- Reliable hourly rate with guaranteed admin support.
- Ideal for steady tutoring work without worrying about marketing, fees, or student acquisition.

Tutors provide us with their ABN and bank details when they join. You don’t need to issue invoices — Aced It Tutoring creates a Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI) on your behalf.
Payments are processed fortnightly and deposited directly into your nominated bank account. This means less admin for you and no chasing payments — just focus on teaching, and we’ll handle the rest.
